As an Art Director with editorial design experience at various publications I have been able to shape and reinforce a true understanding of brand identity. Creating monthly / bi-monthly experiences that each drive storytelling in digital and print format, I hired and worked with various photographers, editors and illustrators over the ten years. By working on set and remotely with these brands, I developed a deep knowledge of how to build and amplify a brand’s voice while creating unique content.
Family Fun
Family Fun Weekend! was a newsletter that introduced readers to highlights from upcoming issues. I designed and developed the new look and feel, making it easy to scan and a weekly must read for busy families.

For this publication, I led with an illustrative style and forged strong working relationships with the illustrators I hired. I consistently provided creative direction for the featured illustrations and created a visual balance with the typographic designs of the pages. This combination brought the stories to life effortlessly for readers.
